The story "Favorite Street" is the second part of the dilogy (the first part is called "Family Happiness") a famous writer, journalist and teacher Frida Vigdorova (1915-1965) The story occurs in the period from September 1, 1944 to June 1954. Its heroes changed - the experience of war, separation, losses made them more mature, more thoughtfully, both kinder and firmly. Through the eyes of the main characters - Sasha’s nurses, which, of course, does not pass by the sad "case of doctors", and the serious, honest journalist Polivanov - we see what is happening not only in the family, but also in the country: in the hospital, at school, school In the newspaper, in the village. Like "family happiness", "beloved street" is a story about decent people, about difficult life and human relationships.
