Kuzma Petrov -Vodkin is one of the reformers of Russian art, who in the first decades of the 20th century created his own, unlike artistic language. But Petrov-Vodkin’s identity is embodied not only in painting. The autobiographical story "The Euclidean Space", written in 1930, testifies to the outstanding literary talent of the artist. This is a dense, energetic prose, in which a living intonation of an oral story, a story about the creative formation of Petrov-Vodkin, his travels and acquaintances is preserved.
