1829. Young Edgar Allan Poe, a novice writer and poet, sits on a ship that goes from America to Old World. Edgar decides to repeat the path of his idol-Lord Byron,-going to the war for the independence of Greece, but because of the weak knowledge of geography, he chooses the most “short” path-through Russia.
