Elizaveta Dyakonova (1874 - 1902) - writer, publicist and bright representative of the progressive part of the Russian merchants of the 19th century. In her "Diaries of the Russian Woman", which she led from 11 years old to death, a whole era was reflected: family relations, study, problems of female higher education, the life of youth and students of the 1890s, personal experiences, portraits of friends and the formation of female movements. The experiences and difficulties on the path of growing up described by Dyakonova remain close to readers even after a century
