"Crime and Punishment" is the first of the Pentateuch of the Great Romanov F.M. Dostoevsky. Conceived as a novel about the humiliated poor people ("drunken" - the original title of the novel), he became the story of an ideological crime of a young mistaken person. The novel contained many problems that are relevant not only for the sixties of the nineteenth century, but also for a later time, up to the present day. The novel is read and, obviously, will read all over the world.
