The poem "Count Nulin" was written by A.S. Pushkin in December 1825, while in exile in the estate of Mikhailovskoye ("At the end of 1825 he was in a woods") She was inspired, according to the poet, the "Lucretia" of Shakespeare and the "incident" that happened in the neighborhood in the Novorzhevsky district. The poem was first published in the Almanac "Northern Flowers" in December 1827.
In this publication, the texts of the poem in English and Russian are included. The English translation was made by Walter Arndt, a retired professor of Russian literature at the University of Darmut, a translator into English Pushkin, Lermontov, Pasternak, etc. The literary and musical article "Count Nulin" was prepared by Anthony Glass, a doctor of sciences of Colombian University, a specialist in Pushkin and Lermontov, the author of numerous articles. A kind of "translation" of a loving-instructive poem into a thin language of graphics was made by the artist Engel Nasibulin.
It is included with a CD with a record of the works of A.S. Pushkin performed by Sergey Yursky
