The Polar Geologist and writer Oleg Kuvaev (1934-1975) lived a short but bright life. He worked in the Arctic for many years, in Chukotka, in Magadan, traveled throughout the country. The impressions gained in wanderings were reflected in his works. His own, unlike anyone, genuine knowledge of life, has always attracted the reader"s interest in O. Kuvaev"s prose. Reliably reflecting the recent era full of heroic and drama, this exciting prose is interesting today.
In the first volume of this meeting, ten stories written in different years are included, and an autobiographical essay "about oneself".
In the second volume of the works of Oleg Kuvaev (1934-1975), the main book of his life was included - the novel "Territory", which brought him wide fame, and the last completed work - the novel "Rules for the flight". This volume also includes almost all the published stories of the writer and sketches to public performances.
