The personality of Genghis Khan, majestic and ominous at the same time, and almost eight hundred years after his death exciting the minds of people, and his biographies are devoted to many works and research, novels, feature films and television series. The character created by Vasily Jan (1875–1954) is perhaps one of the most successful artistic images of the conqueror of Eurasia.
In order to build his empire, Genghis Khan crushed other states, both already decrepit and still quite viable. It was possible to do this through immeasurable suffering, blood, the death of hundreds of thousands of people in the vast spaces of Eurasia. His fate, which seized the path from an unknown Mongol tribal leader to the “Lord of the Universe,” is one of the most unique cases in world history.
