The novel “Walks”, written by the Russian classic Nikolai Leskov (1831-1895), talks about people who are by happiness. They want to love and be loved, but make mistakes that fatally affect their whole future life. The main storyline is the story of two sisters, Anna and Dores Prokhorov. Fate brought them with a handsome Nestor Dolinsky, and he cannot choose in any way, which he likes more than the sisters, and it soon turns out that Dolinsky is also married! A quite ordinary story ... But Leskov is a special narrator and even from the plot, more suitable for boulevard novels, is able to create something special, without unnecessary pathos, filled with thin humor and details that seem to convey the picture of the era
