The cycle of historical leads and novels & quot, the spy of His Majesty & Quot, is the historical and spy reconstruction of the Patriotic War of 1812. The entire cycle was built as a diary of Yakov Ivanovich de Santlen, who, as the director of the Higher Military Police created by Barclay de Tolly, headed Russian military intelligence in the 1812th Russian military intelligence and successfully led the fight against Napoleon"s exploration. In the first book of the cycle, events dedicated to the fight against French agents in months, directly preceding the beginning of the war, and then described in detail the first week of hostilities. The place of action is Wilna, April-July 1812. The diary the author is fictitious, nevertheless written on the basis of real events.
