Journalist Yuri Evgenievich Yarovoy (1932–1980) lived and worked in Sverdlovsk, was fond of tourism, in February - March 1959 he took part in the search work that was carried out in the Northern Urals in connection with the tragedy of the Igor Dyatlov group. The traumatic experience of those days formed the basis of the first book of the spring “The highest category of difficulty” (1966), which was not reprinted for 50 years
