"The Hierarchy of Heaven and Earth" is a fundamental work by D.E. Harding (1909-2007), representing a revolutionary contribution to the new cosmology. Through independent research and applying the scientific method to himself, Harding discovered that he was empty, devoid of matter, devoid of mind - yet this emptiness was conscious and encompassed everything.

And although the idea of a center implied a certain point, the research showed that this central consciousness is everywhere and fills every level of the universe with life. To others, it was a multi-layered system of appearances surrounding an unfathomable mystery, and to himself, it was the mystery, the invisible root from which the Universe grows - a Universe that is very different from our version, created by "common" sense, hierarchically structured.
