Hibiscus tea, also known as karkade, is made from dried flowers of the Sudanese rose (Hibiscus sabdariffa) from the hibiscus genus. It has a bright red or burgundy color and a sweet-tart taste.
Karkade has antiseptic properties, helps normalize body temperature, tones, has a choleretic effect, calms, and aids in a variety of illnesses. Regular consumption of this drink helps prevent avitaminosis. The presence of vitamin C and other natural antioxidants makes the infusion a tonic for the immune system.
Adding dried mint to karkade provides an extra boost of freshness. Mint has a sweet herbaceous aroma with a unique spiciness, adding a special taste to the drink.

Taste: light mint with a pleasant tart aftertaste.
Preparation: steep approximately 3 teaspoons in 500 ml of hot water and let it infuse for at least 7 minutes. Adjust the strength of the drink according to your taste preferences.
