The book by Roman Bogoslovsky and Irina Klinskaya reveals the phenomenon of the group "Sektor Gaza" and its longstanding leader Yura Khoy (Yuri Klinsky). Their songs are still popular, even though neither the group nor its leader have been with us for over 20 years. Khoy has many fans, but the musical establishment rejects him as persistently as during his lifetime - after all, his creativity breaks all boundaries, transcending all genres. He was considered a joker and a troublemaker, yet he sang about things that truly concerned his listeners, hiding a serious meaning behind humor.
The book touches upon all aspects of the musician's life - concerts, tours, family, relationships with bandmates, and, of course, the mystery of his early and tragic death. Yura Khoy's biography was illuminated with the help of his relatives, friends, former members of the "Sektor Gaza" group, who carefully preserve his memory.
