In this book about the heroes of the uprising in Sobibor (the only successful uprising in the death camp in the death camp), an attempt was made to combine a photocheat of the feat with the personal, family album of its participants. The album included photographs gathered bit by arts, relatives, friends of Alexander Pechersky and his combat comrades scattered after the war "in countries and continents."
The book also contains photographs related to the activities of the initiative group to perpetuate the memory of the heroes of Sobibor. The purpose of this international project is to make the uprising in Sobibor take a worthy place in the world public opinion, and its heroes received well -deserved awards and entered the Pantheon of heroes and the righteous of the Great War
