Yakov Gordin is a well-known Russian prose writer and publicist, the author of many books on historical topics: 'The Death of Pushkin', 'The Rebellion of Reformers', 'Between Slavery and Freedom', 'Roll Call in the Dark', 'The Crossroads of Victors', 'The History of the Great Utopia.
