Here and now

In 1964, Sicily Sicily took heart to Anna Akhmatov: Italian culture figures, well acquaintances with her work, awarded the great poetess of the international literary award "Etna-Tarmin". Twentieth later, in 2013, together with the Consulate General of Russia in Palermo, the City Hall of Taormina decided to revive this award, converting Anna Akhmatova - Taormina to the "International Poetic Prize.
In December 2014, the first Ahmatov readings were held in Sicily in Sicily. The author of this book is Sergey Demidenko - their participant. In his verses, the author claims: the potential of the spirit of the nation is born on cultural soil, the powerful layer of which belongs to the works of Anna Akhmatova.
