The seventh volume of the almanac of interdisciplinary studies "Herald of History, Literature, Art", like the previous issues, presents the results of research by leading specialists in various fields of humanities knowledge. The volume presents the results of archaeological research in Central Asia and the Black Sea region, the results of the latest research on the important monument of ancient Russian literature "The Tale of Igor's Campaign", important features of ancient South Arabian, ancient Egyptian, ancient Roman, Byzantine, and ancient Russian civilizations, as well as problems of understanding between bearers of different cultural traditions - Roman and Jewish, Arabian and Hellenic. A number of publications are devoted to both theoretical problems of cultural studies, in particular musicology, theater studies, and specific problems - personalities, historical context of the creation of certain literary and musical works, heraldry. A separate section is devoted to outstanding figures of Russian culture and the presentation of unknown exhibits from museum collections. The authors of the almanac are leading Russian and foreign specialists - historians, philologists, cultural studies experts.
