The book describes the current opportunities for helping children with hearing impairment. Medical, technical, psychological and pedagogical methods of rehabilitation of children with hearing impairment are described. The causes and methods of diagnosing hearing disorders in children are considered.

The auditory method of developing speech in children with hearing impairment is described. He suggests early diagnosis and survivation, early correctional and developing classes, psychological support for parents and involve them in the process of developing a child with a hearing impairment. Special attention is paid to the training of parents to the ability to develop different skills in the child during daily affairs and games, creating conditions for spontaneous speech development.
