The title of this work is 'Hegel and the State'. However, this title does not indicate specific boundaries; it is actually about criticizing traditional criticism, according to which Hegel is seen as an apologist for the Prussian state and a prophet of what is often called statism. Does such criticism matter? Is it sufficient to simply acknowledge, without contradicting the philosopher, that the state is at the very center of his political thought? And if we assume that this criticism is valid, is it applicable to Hegel?
