The holy martyr Seraphim (Zvezdinsky), Bishop Dmitrovsky, while still a young man, and resorting to the prayer help of St. Sergius of Radonezh and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, received the gift of the preacher. Many compared his talent with the talent of John Chrysostom, nicknamed the Vladyka - Seraphim by Srebrovost. The trembling angelic attitude of the Lord to the Divine Liturgy, the holiness of his life, put him on a par with such lamps of the Church as the Holy Righteous John of Kronstadt, the Monk Sergius of Radonezh and the Monk Seraphim Sarovsky. The sermons of the Divine Liturgy of Vladyka Seraphim are not just a story about the importance of the liturgy in the life of the Orthodox Church, but a laudatory song to the Creator, who gave us the greatest sacrament. These sermons are a marvelous poetic anthem, in which visible and invisible world merge together.
