The story of this is presented in the sura of "ya sin" of the Holy Qur"an. So, in verses 13 and 14 of this sura, it is reported: "Oh, the Prophet, as a parable, bring them the inhabitants of the village, to which the messengers appeared. When we sent two messengers to them, they considered them liars, and then we reinforced them with the third. They said: "truly, we are sent to you." In different interpretations to the Qur"an, you can find a more detailed description of these events.
