Mabel Collins (1851–1927) - English writer, Theosof, author of more than forty works. Although this book was written by the author later than the more famous “Light on the way”, it can be considered as a preface to it, and indeed to all theosophical literature. On his life path, a person comes to such a crisis point, when culture, science and religion no longer satisfy him, he loses the meaning of life and does not know where to go further. The author notes that this is a logical stage in development and seeks to show a way out of this position, giving a fresh look at what vice and virtue, suffering and pleasure are. For readers interested in theosophy and walking through spiritual development
