The textbook covers the wide aspects of social knowledge that borders on medicine. General issues of social medicine are presented: definitions of the concepts of "health", "convention", "disease", "prevention", public health indicators, the connection of the level of health with the way of life, ecology, heredity, and the organization of domestic health care.
