The training manual presents materials that allow students to acquire knowledge of the main issues of emergency epidemiology and the ability to plan preventive and anti -epidemic measures in emergency situations. The issues of the organizational structure of the unified state system of preventing and eliminating emergency situations, interdepartmental interaction in the implementation of anti -epidemic measures, features of the epidemic process of infectious diseases in emergency situations are considered. The basic principles of epidemiological supervision, planning, organization and conduct of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures are set out. The concepts of biological weapons and the basis of biological protection of the population are given.
