"The Kiss of Harlequin" - full of mysterious oddities. Roman made up of four cycles of stories. On behalf of his "old good friend" Valeryan Somova, the author describes the life of the hero, with which incredible events occur. It all starts in St. Petersburg, a strange space, known for its incredible metaphysics, then the hero turns out to be in a quiet Malorosiysk village, modern Dikanka, still enchanted damning, after which he moves to Moscow - "chapel city" ... But the main thing in these stories is - The atmosphere, intonation, the texture of speech. The main thing is the voice of the narrator, sounding like a precious musical instrument, which, alas, now rarely hear.
