A boy named Fytill always lived in an orphanage near a dark and dreadful match factory, tirelessly working for the greedy Old Lady Boggy. He only dreamed of escaping until one day a magpie dropped something impossible and magical at his feet - a tiny baby in an acorn-shaped cradle, skillfully carved from wood. When midnight strikes, the elves, miniature forest defenders, will visit Fytill. Grateful for his kindness towards their stolen child, they offer him the chance of a lifetime - to escape and start a new life with them in the wild. 'Harklights' is a story created by the modern British artist and storyteller Tim Tilley about family, friendship, and nature, embodying a message of hope for our time.
