Developed motor skills not only help a child perform necessary creative tasks at school, but are also closely related to mastering writing skills and speech quality. Therefore, it is essential to engage in activities such as molding and drawing, solving puzzles, making various crafts together, practicing strokes, coloring, tracing drawings along dotted lines - in other words, do activities that strengthen the hand and prepare it for writing. In accordance with the "Get Ready for School" program, children learn to write elements of written letters and letters by working in the workbook "Handwriting" for children aged 6-7. A child can practice individually with an adult or in a group with other children twice a week for 15-25 minutes. The process of learning to write is a complex task for any child. They need to hear a sound, represent it in writing with the corresponding letter, recalling the elements that make up the letter and how these elements are connected in the letter. It is important to maintain continuity, slant, consistent height, and width of the letters. By using this workbook, a child will gain knowledge that will be useful in school. They will learn about: - the writing line, - additional lines of the writing line, - slanted lines for writing letters at an angle, - elements of written letters, - connections of elements in a letter, - continuous writing of written letters.
