The new series 'W.S.', dedicated to the works of William Shakespeare, continues with the tragedy in five acts 'Hamlet'.
The edition features rare lithographs by Eugène Delacroix, a French painter and graphic artist. The artist created them over 9 years - from 1834 to 1843. Imbued with the spirit of Shakespeare's works, including the tragedy 'Hamlet', he very accurately conveyed the drama of the play and the emotional experiences of the characters.
The text is published according to one of the first editions of the translation by Boris Pasternak, released by the 'Detgiz' publishing house in 1942.
The edition is made with embossing on the cover, water varnishing, and contains a bookmark ribbon.
