The novel of the famous English writer Jonathan Swift "travels to some distant countries of Light Lemuel Gullyer, first the surgeon, and then the captain of several ships" out of print in 1726. A fascinating work has become a classic not only adult, but also children"s literature. The retells of this novel for children appeared in the XVIII century. Since then, many abbreviated publications and arrangements for children have been released in different countries. In our country, the best retelling of Guullyer travels has made talented playwright and translator Tamara Gabbe in 1931
