Ivan Nikolaevich Komarov is one of the classics of Russian specialized literature on fishing. As a large expert and practitioner of sports fishing mosquitoes, he was elected a full member of the Russian Union of Fishermen-Udilchiki. Contemporaries put Komarov on a par with Sabaneyev and Cherkasov.
