The training manual was drawn up in accordance with the prosthetics program of dental series (complex prosthetics) for students of dental faculties of medical universities, students in the specialty 060105 (060201) Dentistry.
The book consists of five sections. In the first of these, methods of treating patients with increased erasing of solid teeth tissues are considered. In the second section, much attention is paid to the peculiarities of the orthopedic treatment of patients of senile age. The third section is devoted to the methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients with extensive defects of dental rows and various pathologies. In the fourth section, methods for studying the state of periodontal and the possibility of an orthopedic phase of complex treatment of various forms of periodontitis are considered. In the fifth section, the features of the orthopedic treatment of patients with somatic diseases and chronic diseases of the oral cavity are systematized.
