This two-volume set includes the legendary "Children's and Household Tales" by the Brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, published during the authors' lifetimes. The edition is richly illustrated with drawings by German artists F. Grot-Johan and R. Leinweber, as well as works by the English artist A. Rackham. The fairy tale texts are presented in translations by V. A. Gatzuk, P. N. Polevoy, and B. D. Porozovskaya (from the Illustrated Fairy Tale Library of F. Pavlenkov).
