The book "Grigory Kozlov's Workshop" is dedicated to the work of the outstanding contemporary director, Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation Grigory Mikhailovich Kozlov, the founder of the "Workshop" theater in St. Petersburg. This theater has not only developed its repertoire and troupe, but also its audience: today, "Workshop" is one of the most popular theaters in St. Petersburg, with performances that particularly attract young viewers. A decade of successful practice at the "Workshop," Kozlov's productions, which have received national and international awards multiple times, deserve professional analysis and coverage. The book includes an essay by Professor Elena Gorfunkel of RGISI on the work of Grigory Kozlov, essays by Kirill Devotchenko, and interviews with Grigory Kozlov's closest colleagues, his former and current students.
