Alexander Sergeevich Griboedov (1795-1829) - playwright, poet, composer, diplomat, author of the legendary comedy "grief from the mind" (1824) - in the memories of their contemporaries, close friends and just familiar. Entries, at the beginning of the 20th century, collected in this book were printed in various periodicals over the years after the tragic death of Griboedov, and are, despite some of their chaoticism and scattering, almost the only testimonies of certain moments of his unique biography
