The set "Heroes of War" is dedicated to 16 brave-and courageous people who committed a feat for their country and giving all their strength to fight the invaders during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) In the volume of the kit, only some, the most famous, Heroes of the Soviet Union are presented.
Laconic texts of pictures contain:
- a brief biography of heroes,
- Names and descriptions of points of battles, military operations in which they participated,
- Conclusions about the value of the feat for the victory of our country.
Information is divided into easy to memorize blocks. Knowledge are made compressed, but in a sufficient for the child 6-11 years old.
Photos of heroes illustrate the story, make it shaped and interesting.
Pictures are suitable for individual and group work. We recommend to purchase all theatic related kits of the "Great Victory" series.
In this manual, it is impossible to give information about all the heroes of the war. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War was awarded 11,657 people. In each region, the city and the area there is a hero. We recommend using our allowance for the most famous heroes of war, together with children find material about the hero of your region (city, villages) This will help the resources of the Internet (Wikipedia, the site "Heroes of War", etc), the materials of local history museums, libraries, etc. These materials can be placed on the Internet, after completing the virtual "Book of Memory.
