Viktor Mikhailovich Vasnetsov (1848-1926) was born in the Vyatka province in the family of a priest. He created the best works on the reasons of Russian epics and fairy tales. His "Bogatyri" became a symbol of the Russian Soul, the devotion of the Great Russia. Created by the cycle of paintings on the themes of Russian folklore, he called the "poem of seven fairy tales".
