Peter Petrovich Vereshchagin (1834-1886) was born in the artist"s family, and in a professional plan, he took a lot from his father. He studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Painting, and for his paintings was awarded the title of academician landscape painting. He did not violate the canons of the academic direction - the image animation was not considered important, and therefore was not encouraged. And yet he managed to break out of the framework, limiting the freedom of the artist: he wrote not foreign species, but landscapes of Russia. The artist tried to show what its good nature is good than the most interesting cities and weights of the country. The Ural artist was held with the Russian-Turkish war with Russian troops of 1877-1878, but remained faithful to himself: wrote landscapes. Its work is accurate, detailed and canonical - evidence of conscientious work and his devotion to their work.
