The story "Grandfather's Rain" by Alexander Ginevsky consists of short stories with a common plot - a boy named Vitya, a student of a junior school, goes to spend his vacation with his grandfather in the village of Berezhok. Each story in this little novella makes you look closely at the native land, the native nature: the different types of rain we have (fine drizzle, downpour, slanting rain, beads...), the diverse nature in the Russian village, and the different and interesting people: Grandfather Zakhar, the conductor Lyusya, the blacksmith Fyodor Tikhonich, Grandmother Valentina...
