Fedka, a schoolboy, has an unusual friend - a funny old lady who is unlike any other, and who is inseparable from her cat. Together with the old lady, they craft ships and hats out of newspapers, make lollipops in spoons, learn to whistle, look through old photo albums, constantly joke and fantasize. Together, they embark on incredible adventures: they break the spell of their neighbor, Dragonova, bring school assignments to life, expose a spy old lady, gain the trust of the Sugar Woman, stand up to Koschei, and find the granddaughter of Zlatovlaska!
However, this is not a fairy tale at all! This is a story about the friendship of people of different ages, but close in spirit and energy. It is a story about the need to be able to look and see other people, so that life can be kinder, more fun, and even more magical.
