The publication is devoted to urgent problems of gogoedia. The first issue included the scientific works of a memoir-biographical, textological and historical nature. Among his materials are research on the life and work of Gogol, the writer"s botanical hobbies. Among the publications are the recently found autograph of Gogol’s letter to relatives from Jerusalem, the final editors of the Memoirs of the mother of Gogol and the autograph of the writer"s sister’s sister, the letter of D.F. Samarin about the death of Gogol. The bibliographic department includes a list of auto-relays of dissertations dedicated to Gogol’s work, as well as the bibliography of the writer"s works and literature about him in Russian for 2003-2005.
