God's love in the Psalms

God's love is one of the greatest themes in the Bible. In total, the word "hesed" ('love') appears 245 times in the Old Testament, 127 of which are in the Psalms. It is in this book, which is a collection of prayers, many of which are addressed to the King-Messiah, that the theme of God's love becomes constant and gains theological depth. The author, a renowned biblical scholar and commentator on the books of the Old and New Testaments, examines each of the most significant occurrences of the term "hesed" in the Psalms, believing that through reading all of David's psalms in a strictly defined sequence, we experience a genuine messianic experience, an experience of following the Messiah.
