Glycine Forte is a metabolic drug.
Glycine Forte is a regulator of metabolism, normalizes and activates protective inhibition processes in the central nervous system, reduces psychoemotional tension, and enhances mental performance.
Glycine has glycine- and GABA-ergic, alpha1-adrenoblocking, antioxidant, antitoxic effects, regulates the activity of glutamatergic (NMDA) receptors, allowing the drug to:
- reduce psychoemotional tension, aggressiveness, conflict, improve social adaptation,
- improve mood,
- facilitate falling asleep and normalize sleep,
- enhance mental performance,
- reduce vegetovascular disorders (including during menopause),
- reduce the severity of brain disorders in ischemic stroke and traumatic brain injury,
- reduce the toxic effects of alcohol and other CNS-depressant drugs.
Pharmacokinetics: easily penetrates most biological fluids and tissues of the body, including the brain, metabolizes to water and carbon dioxide, does not accumulate in tissues.
Active components:
- Glycine amino acid - produced in the human body, its deficiency results in faster fatigue, inability to concentrate on tasks, and nervousness. Glycine normalizes and activates protective inhibition processes in the central nervous system, contributes to reducing psychoemotional tension, and enhancing mental performance.
- Vitamin B1 - essential for maintaining the health of the nervous system, mental performance, optimizing cognitive activity, and thinking. Vitamin B1 contributes to improving the metabolism of nervous tissue.
- Vitamin B6 - contributes to the normal functioning of the brain, necessary for the absorption of vitamin B12. Deficiency of vitamin B6 manifests as irritability or sluggishness and drowsiness.
- Vitamin B12 - contributes to the natural renewal of nerve tissue structure, reducing irritability, improving concentration and memory. Participates in the production of acetylcholine - a neurotransmitter involved in brain processes related to memory and learning. Vitamin B12 deficiency causes structural changes in nerve tissue.
Indications:
- Reduced mental performance,
- stressful situations - psychoemotional tension (during exams, conflicts, etc.),
- deviant behavior in children and adolescents,
- various functional and organic nervous system diseases accompanied by increased excitability, emotional instability, decreased mental performance, and sleep disturbances: neuroses, neurosis-like conditions and vegetovascular dystonia, consequences of neuroinfections and traumatic brain injury, perinatal and other forms of encephalopathies (including alcohol-related),
- ischemic stroke.
Dosage and administration: for adults, 1 tablet twice a day. Hold the tablet in the mouth until completely dissolved. The duration of intake should be at least 1 month. If necessary, the intake can be repeated after a 10-day break.
Contraindications: individual intolerance to components, pregnancy, breastfeeding. Consult a doctor before use.
