What is post-crisis "new normality" (New Normal)? The author"s team of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO RAS) tried to answer this question, comprehendly new reality in different planes: in economic, social and political. The authors analyzed the search for a new economy growth model and new approaches in the regulation of financial markets, features of innovative policy and the development of the oil and gas sector, a new corporate map of the world, where state-owned companies are in a special place. In close interconnection with the economy, the social sphere is changing: state policy is in finding answers to new challenges of social imbalances and migration policies, state policy is rebuilt under pressure from the requirements of the XXI century to democracy. These problems are peculiar to all countries, but they have particular importance for "new periphery" - post-communist countries. Significant changes are also observed in the political sphere: new realities are formed in the system of international relations, which are manifested in the development of transatlantic relations and relations between the United States and the PRC. In the post-crisis period, the paradigm of international security is changing. The authors illustrate this trend at the examples of resolving conflicts in the Afpack zone and in the Middle East. Also, the crisis affected the development of integration into the EU.
