This mysterious, similar to the wonderful and terrible dream of a fairy tale wrote a Swedish writer Maria Gripe. The forests and rocks of South Sweden suggested her the history of Claus and Clara, the children of glass fiber. Maria Gripe, who in his homeland is known at least the Great Astrid Lindgren, created a book, which is compared at the same time with the story "Ronya, daughter of the robber", and with the immortal "snow queen".
Glass of glass went out in Russian, and not once, but this time the "White Voron" is glad to present the readers a new translation of Mary Lyudkovskaya, modern Scandinavist, on which there are already over 30 translations of such loved authors as Sven Nurdquist, Barbru Lindgren, Annika Tor, Ulf Stark and Jacob Martin Street. There are also new illustrations - they were fulfilled by a young artist Victoria Popov, which was well managed to convey the atmosphere of the book.
