"The Glass Curtain" is the final part of the novel "Birch Grove," the main character of which is Valentina Lebedeva, a provincial masseuse with a talent for healing, who becomes the most popular TV presenter in the country. The action takes place in 1996, Russia is boiling on the eve of the presidential elections, and the population is facing black political technologies for the first time. Due to fraudulent advertising of water, Valentina is ready to leave television.
