The monograph presents theoretical-methodological and scientific-practical approaches to assessing the sustainable spatial development of modern Russia and its regions. An assessment of the level of sustainability of the regions of Russia is proposed in the directions of finance, industry, and demography. Recommendations and proposals have been formulated for improving methods of managing the spatial development of the Russian economy using a geographic information system (GIS) and a forecast of the directions of transformation of the spatial organization of the national economy is provided. The monograph is of interest to researchers in the field of spatial development, public and municipal administration, practitioners, as well as teachers, graduate students, and students of universities in the faculties of public and municipal administration, management, and regional economics.
