Julius Gay is a reformer of German vocal art. He became the author of a large original vocal pedagogical essay, written in the spirit of the exercise of Wagner.
German teaching of singing embodies in itself, in a clear presentation, the views of Wagner on the upbringing of German singers. Gay consistently explains the vocal system from the elements of the natural formation of tone to the artistic and complete execution, without omitting the testimony of the fruitful practice of teaching singing.
The book is designed for singers, vocal teachers, students of special educational institutions, as well as for those who work on the voice themselves.
The book was first translated into Russian
