The textbook is a part of the German language coursebook series 'Horizons' for the 9th grade. The 'Horizons' series is a joint project of the publishing house 'Prosveshchenie' and the Cornelsen publishing house (Berlin), designed for schools with German as a second foreign language starting from the 5th grade. The 9th grade is the fifth year of study. The material of the textbook is designed for two hours per week. Modern vocabulary, real communication situations, project work allow the teacher to conduct lessons with maximum efficiency in groups of any level of proficiency. The textbook is developed in accordance with all the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education No. 287 dated 31.05.2021. The state borders are given as of October 2022. Approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. 11th revised edition.
