The textbook contains an introduction (about the German group of languages, on historical periods of development of the German language, the political structure of Germany), the introductory phonetic course (with the rules of pronunciation, reading, stroking, types of intonation, texts, poems, songs), the main course (with texts about Universities of different countries and on topical topics), as well as exercises on phonetics, vocabulary, grammar and word formation of the German language. The textbook is attached a handbook on the grammar of the German language, to which the links are mainly given. The purpose of the textbook is to give students the skills of oral speech, reading German artistic, journalistic, scientific literature, as well as familiarize them to a certain extent with the culture of the studied countries.
